NUVO-Glo™ Aggregates are resin-based aggregates that are formulated to withstand the test of time. Every aggregate is infused with materials that allow the aggregates to glow equally throughout the entire aggregate, which makes them adaptable to any plaster surface, including polished surfaces.
Do the aggregates work well in salt water pools?
Yes. NUVO-Glo™ Aggregates are manufactured to withstand all pool chemical substances.
What makes the aggregates light up?
The aggregates contain microscopic fluorescent particles that activate when your NUVO-Glo™ UV Lights are turned on. Without the lights, that aggregates cannot shine at night.
Can they be placed in spas and on bajas (sun decks)?
Yes, as long as a NUVO-Glo™ UV Light is installed to shine on your sun deck or spa.
How long with the NUVO-Glo™ Aggregates last?
They will light up night after night throughout the life of the surface they are installed and as long as your NUVO-Glo™ UV lights are turned on. Their brilliance never expires.
Can I have the NUVO-Glo™ Aggregates installed in an existing pool that already has a new surface?
Unfortunately, no. NUVO-Glo™ Aggregates must be installed during the plastering process during a new pool build or resurfacing. They cannot be installed on an existing surface.
I would like to have the NUVO-Glo™ Aggregates installed in my new pool. What do I need to do to have this system installed?
First, we need to determine where in the process you are of having your new pool built. The best time to make the decision to install the system is before the hole is dug for your new pool, however, you may decide to install this system up to the point that your gunite structure has been built and prior to your deck being built.
You can install the system prior to resurfacing, but it’s recommended you check with your builder. The NUVO-Glo™ UV Lighting System requires new lighting installations that your builder would need to structurally approve.
